Weather

In the event of inclement or extreme weather conditions children will take part in indoor activities. Your child should attend the Star Camp with suitable clothing and footwear for all weather conditions.

Hot Weather Procedure

• Children will not be exposed to excessive periods in the sun.
• Children will be taken indoors if it is felt there is a risk of sunburn
• Parents/guardians should apply sunscreen to children in the morning and ensure the cream is available during the day in order to be reapplied
• If your child is unable to put on his/her own sunscreen please use a brand that provides all day protection
• Parents/guardians should provide necessary sun protection eg sunglasses/sunhat
• Star Camps staff will discourage the sharing of sun cream between friends
• Star Camps staff will ensure children are given ample opportunity to drink.
